Bofeng Foam is a direct manufacturer of cross-linked polyolefin foam in Zhuhai, China. We produce three core material families — XPE, IXPE and IXPP — and supply them as large rolls, cut sheets, laminated composites and finished die-cut or CNC-routed parts.
Which Foam Do You Need?
XPE (chemically cross-linked polyethylene) is the workhorse: firm, resilient, fine-celled and easy to fabricate. Choose it for packaging inserts, tool box liners, sports mats, automotive interior parts and general cushioning. Supplied in 3–40 times expansion, 500–2000 mm wide, single layers 3–15 mm thick and heat-laminated blocks from 15 mm up to 200 mm.
IXPE (irradiation cross-linked polyethylene) is smoother, thinner and more uniform, with better surface quality and dielectric properties. It suits electronics protection, display and keyboard gaskets, precision lamination and any part where a thin sheet matters. Same 3–40 times expansion and 500–2000 mm width, but single layers from 0.1 mm to 15 mm.
IXPP (irradiation cross-linked polypropylene) is the high-temperature option: it withstands continuous use up to 140 °C, is stiffer than PE foam and keeps its dimensions when hot. It is the material we recommend for automotive under-hood parts and EV battery thermal management. Supplied in 5–25 times expansion, 500–1500 mm wide, single layers 1–6 mm.
Customization Options
All three families can be supplied flame retardant, conductive or anti-static, laminated to aluminium foil, non-woven fabric, leather or flannelette, and backed with adhesive. Density, thickness, width, colour and surface finish are specified per project — tell us the part and we will match the material to it.
