Made to order: density, thickness, colour and shape to your drawing. Die-cutting, CNC routing, lamination to film or fabric, slitting and adhesive coating all run in-house, so the part we quote is a finished part, not just a sheet. Regular material: MOQ 1,000 m², lead time 15–20 days from order confirmation. Custom parts are quoted from the drawing. A4 samples are free, shipping included.
Pipe insulation foam is a flexible closed-cell sheet wrapped around the outside of a pipe to reduce heat loss or heat gain along the run. Bofeng Foam produces it from cross-linked polyethylene, which combines a low thermal conductivity with the flexibility to follow a real pipe route – bends, offsets, valves and all – rather than only the straight sections a rigid section would cover.
Features
- Closed-cell structure: the foam's closed pores stop the air movement that would otherwise carry heat across the insulation, giving a consistent thermal performance along the whole run.
- Light, soft and easy to work: the sheet bends, cuts and laps on site, so installers can insulate complex routes without a catalogue of pre-formed fittings.
- Anti-aging and weather resistant: holds its shape and does not chalk or crack under long-term outdoor exposure.
- Low water absorption: the closed-cell surface does not take on water, so thermal performance does not collapse in wet or buried service.
- Fire performance: the higher grades reach a B1 flame retardant rating and will not spread flame rapidly when exposed to an open fire.
- Freeze protection: on exposed or unheated runs, the wrap slows heat loss enough to reduce the risk of a pipe freezing and splitting in winter.
Applications
- Industrial piping: chemical plants and refineries carrying hot liquids or gases, and cryogenic lines such as liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen where condensation on the pipe would otherwise cause corrosion.
- Building services: heating and domestic water pipework in residential blocks, and chilled-water and refrigeration lines in malls, hotels and offices.
- Agriculture: greenhouse irrigation headers, where keeping the supply line warm reduces the heating load, and orchard drip irrigation mains, where the wrap extends service life.
- Food and pharma: refrigeration and ventilation ductwork in cold stores and food plants, and clean-area process lines in pharmaceutical workshops.

Why Choose Bofeng Foam
We supply pipe insulation foam at 30× foaming (33 kg/m³), in widths of 1 m to 1.5 m and thicknesses of 3 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm, in black or gray, with width, thickness and colour made to order. The base material specification is on the XPE foam page. Air-conditioning work usually uses the thinner wrap described under air conditioner pipe insulation foam, and duct runs use duct insulation foam.
In-house conversion. We slit the wrap to the pipe circumference or to the lap width the installer wants, and can apply adhesive backing so the wrap stays closed on the pipe. Regular material starts at 1,000 m²; slit rolls are quoted from the pipe schedule.
