Customization
Made to order: density, thickness, colour and shape to your drawing. Die-cutting, CNC routing, lamination to film or fabric, slitting and adhesive coating all run in-house, so the part we quote is a finished part, not just a sheet. How a custom part is cut and routed explains what to send with the drawing.
Regular material: MOQ 1,000 m², lead time 15–20 days from order confirmation. Custom parts are quoted from the drawing. A4 samples are free, shipping included.
Anti-static foam LCD protection film is the sheet laid over a display panel while it is handled – through assembly, testing, packing and transport. A bare panel is vulnerable to two things at once: a discharge through the surface, which destroys the driver circuitry, and a physical scuff, which fails it at final inspection. This film addresses both.
Features
- Permanent conductive grade: the foam is supplied at 10³ to 10⁶ Ω, so charge that builds on the film drains away instead of discharging into the panel.
- Cushioning against surface damage: the foam layer absorbs contact and light impact, protecting the polariser and the glass from the scratches and pressure marks that handling produces.
- Conformable to the panel: the sheet follows a curved or edged display and stays in place without adhesive.
- Stable across conditions: the anti-static value is a material property, so it does not fall away as the humidity in the plant changes.
- Clean removal: low adhesion means the film lifts off without leaving residue on the screen surface.
- Cut to size: supplied cut to the panel outline, so it can be applied straight from the box.
Applications
- Mobile phone, tablet, laptop and television panel protection
- Instrument and control panel displays in industrial equipment
- Laboratory and medical equipment displays
- Automotive navigation and entertainment displays
- Aviation and aerospace display assemblies
Specifications for anti-static LCD protection film
An ESD part is specified on two axes at once: the mechanical grade that holds the component, and the surface resistance that drains static.
| Foam | Expansion | Apparent density | Single-layer thickness | Why this grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IXPE, conductive grade | 8–20× | 50–125 kg/m³ | 0.1–15 mm | A permanent conductive or anti-static grade, so the film sits directly against a display, so it has to be thin and leave no residue. Surface resistance: conductive 10³–10⁶ Ω; dissipative 10⁶–10⁹ Ω. |
| XPE | 15–25× | 40–66.7 kg/m³ | 3–15 mm | The mechanical base layer, where the part also has to hold a shape or take a load rather than simply cushion. |
| IXPE | 8–20× | 50–125 kg/m³ | 0.1–15 mm | Thin, fine-cell IXPE sheet, and the plain base of the conductive grade above: the conductive grade is the same sheet with a conductive filler added, so the expansion range is the same. |
Base material specifications are on the XPE, IXPE and IXPP material pages; finished products are on the XPE foam and IXPE foam pages. Tell us the load, the space available and the service temperature and we will confirm the grade against your drawing.
Why Choose Bofeng Foam
We supply the foam at 3 mm to 15 mm as a single sheet or 15 mm to 200 mm thermally laminated, in black, white or gray, with a permanent conductive grade at 10³ to 10⁶ Ω and cut to the panel outline on request. The base material is described on the XPE foam page, the resistivity grades on the ESD foam hub, and the wider ESD range in the conductive foam and ESD guide.
Conclusion & Inquiry
Send the panel dimensions, the sensitivity class and the handling process, and we will confirm the grade and thickness. Contact us for samples or a quotation.
